Our dream for the future!

Jabulani Farm and Winery
For some time we were trying to
find a suitable piece of land.
In July of 2005 - Janet and I
found this one for sale.
We immediately set out on research activities to answer a
myriad of questions;
  • What would the market value of such land be?
  • What is the zoning of this land?
  • Would a building permit be obtainable?
  • What impact would the Conservation authority have
    on our plans?
  • Does this piece of land already exist as a severed lot?
  • Is there a survey available?
  • We found a lot of wild fruit bearing grape vines on
the land - would cold climate vines grow here?
....and many more questions had to be answered.
By October 2005, we were ready to make an offer for the
land. We closed the deal in June of 2006.
The farm is described as CONCESSION 3
West Part of Lot 9 RP 4R18665 PART1
and consists of 37.85 acres of land
bordered by the Jock River in the North
and Jock Trail in the South.
